Hi, this is Bobby Powers, author of the ProTips writing series. When I began writing a few years ago, my ignorance pushed me to seek out the work of experts who had gone before — authors who held the map to the scary territory I was beginning to explore.

In my quest to become a better writer, I’ve read dozens of writing craft books and watched numerous MasterClasses from authors like Neil Gaiman, Margaret Atwood, and Roxane Gay. But I’ve also learned LOADS of advice from the future pros of the writing world — up-and-comers whose names will be on thousands of tongues in the coming years.

That’s one of the things I love most about The Writing Cooperative: I get to learn from tomorrow’s pros. This week’s newsletter features stories from three incredible writers of tomorrow who pay tribute to their influences. Each of these writers has under 2,500 followers. Get ’em while they’re hot!
